"Celtic Saints of Western Scotland"-  a 7day tour.Journey through Perthshire and north west visiting Dunkeld an important ecclesiastical centre in the time of the Picts.Standing Stones,Crosses and Hermitages to view; the Fortingall Yew - the oldest living thing in Europe.Then into superb Glen Lyon - for many thousands of years a place of Druidic worship and offering a most magical atmosphere imaginable.Taking the same route as the ancient monks we head to Oban;then south to visit the remarkable Kilmartin Glen with many prehistoric and Celtic remains and Standing Stones.Returning to Edinburgh to learn about St Triduana and visit her chapel and well-house.End of tour.

Day8: a day trip to the "Holy Island" of Lindisfarne can be added on to the basic tour.Returning to Edinburgh for overnight with B&B.
